New treasures and upcoming autumn activites

Summer is here and I'm spending most of my time out in our overgrown garden, or inside the new (120 year old) house inventing practical solutions and tearing up linoleum carpets in search of wooden floors and other surprises. After our move to the countryside just northeast of Gothenburg in Februrary we now find ourselves in a historically potent and visually stunning district, and seem surrounded by culture workers and craftsmen.

During the first weekend of October I'll be opening this new home of mine to the public, as part of the annual "art expedition" (konstrunda) featuring artists in the area. As I most certainly won't have time to build my barn studio before then my plan is to use the room next to my temporary work space as an exhibition venue. All participating artists will also take part in a group exhibition in central Olofstorp.

I'm telling you this now as three months is a very short time, especially in the middle of summer. See you soon!
